A manual call-out-and-type process was replaced with a cleaner way to capture readings while the job was happening.

A field workflow that reduced double-handling and made it easier to get accurate readings into the right place.

The problem

One person called out readings while another entered them into a spreadsheet, which slowed the job down and created more room for mistakes.

I designed a simpler capture flow that put the readings into the right structure as the work was being completed.

The team spent less time re-entering information later and finished with cleaner records at the end of the day.
